ROV & AUV Deployment

Caley Ocean Systems offers bespoke handling systems for Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and Autonomous Undersea Vehicles (AUV) across a broad range of sizes, applications and water depths (4000m ), sea conditions (to seastate 6), all of which are fully certified leading classification societies including the Chinese Classification Society (CCS).

The handling systems can be configured for ‘over-the-side’ or moonpool operations, and complete diverless recovery capability. For example, an 80 Te A-frame system combines a 40 Te lift winch and two 30 Te pipe davits. The systems, which are all certified in accordance with DNV’s latest rules, have been installed on new-build vessels.

Portable A-frame systems with multiple degrees of freedom, high speed umbilical winches with automatic level wind systems and adaptable control systems are also available.
