Storage Reels

Caley supplies a range of storage reels for handling cable and rigid and flexible pipe laying, umbilicals, risers and hoses up to 400 tonne. The reels can be segmented to allow different diameter cable to be accommodated on a single reel. For ultimate operational flexibility Caley can supply road-transportable modular reels up to 75 tonne

In addtion, Caley supplies modular hydraulic and electric reels drives (hub and rim) to suit most reel sizes. Integrated with lifting towers, the drives can be used with single and multiple reels up to 400 T and diameter 9 m, and operational loads up to 34 tonne. The drives are bi-directional for provide accurate speed control during spooling and unspooling product from reel.
